My thoughts on the world of "#Coronavirus"

So, we've been dealing with "Coronavirus, "Covid-19, whatever you want to call it, for the past couple of months. Most states are shutting down and requiring people to self-quarantine themselves in their homes. This follows the cancellation of all spring sports and tournaments. It's interesting how quickly everything was able to shut down. It's also scary how quickly everything was able to shut down. Travel stopped, no flying in or out of the country; countries closing their borders across the world. Stock market is dropping by the thousands, daily. Fear is being pressed by the media in an amazing way.

I understand why this is happening. It's moving extremely fast throughout the world. Thousands are dying and it has really scared a lot of people, and there are many more who are going about their lives as usual. There are a lot of illnesses out there that will kill you. Thousands die of the flu yearly, thousands die of the pneumonia and on and on. What makes this different? In my opinion, it has come upon us in an election year, a year that the democrats have no-one who, in normal times, could hold a candle to President Trump. The democrats have been trying to remove Trump from office from the day he was elected and have failed time and time again. Now there is this pandemic and they're calling it his "Katrina", the thing that will show he's not fit to be president. There is the continual fighting amongst themselves, republican vs democrats. There is the slander, the lies, the accusations.

Then, there's the media, who are sowing hatred and division, broadcasting and quoting things without fact checking, in order to spread their agenda. In my opinion, there is no true reporting of facts any longer. The agendas are pushed constantly and there's no pretending to be impartial.

And then there are the performers, the musicians, the actors, et al. Their hatred and contempt of the president is beyond compare. I truly believe they think believe the people of the world care about their opinions on things. They have done nothing but sow hate and loathing and for what benefit.

The American public is growing tired of it all. They will find that their rhetoric is less than nothing, being totally ignored. Yes we know you hate Trump. Yes we know you feel entitled to say so, but who cares.  You're showing your true colors and no-one cares.

What we need is not name calling, not lies, not hatred. We need to all pull together to fix this pandemic. We need the right wing and the left wing to work together. Put your hatred aside for just a little while. It's doing no good right now for anyone. You accuse Trump of not doing enough but when you were trying to impeach him he was limiting flights from China, where this whole thing started. He's been trying to close the borders from illegals, who carried in illnesses. He's been trying to make America self-sufficient, which is now what's needed. Yes the world needs to work together, but we also need to take care of ourselves.

Is Trump the be-all? No but he's doing more than and has been doing more, for the American people than those who hate him have done. Again, put your hatred aside for a while and work together for the sake of the human population.
